CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM can REDUCE ANXIETY. When you don’t give the people you care about (spouse, friend, child, coworker, etc.) honest feedback regarding how they’re doing, they tend to assume the worst instead of believing the best. People feel safer when they know where they stand with you, even if they don’t necessarily like where you’re asking them to step (Proverbs 27:5).
