The Body Shop is a Community Outreach Ministry, facilitated by LifeSpring Bible Church, that seeks to shine the light of Jesus Christ by meeting practical needs in the city of Anchorage and its surrounding municipalities. Some of the services we provide include: hosting family events such as our annual Trunk or Treat and Fourth of July BBQ, partnering with local churches and organizations to help feed the homeless, packing shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child, adopting local schools, and much more.
Our next meeting will be Saturday July 17th at Isaac and Leah’s House at 2320 Chandalar Dr. If you would like to help us love the “least of these,” please email Isaac Johnson at isaac@lifespringak.com.
Current Needs

Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes.
Even though we aren’t packing these shoeboxes till November 2021, we are collecting different items for each month leading up to Christmas. In July, we are collecting summer items like flip flops, deflated soccer balls or footballs with pumps, sunglasses, etc. No water guns permitted.
Items can be dropped off at our 12:00 pm Sunday church service at Wayland Baptist University, or people can email Pastor Isaac Johnson at isaac@lifespringak.com to arrange alternative delivery options. We also have an Amazon Wish List people can access here to donate online.
